With mostly German heritage (a little English and Irish in there too), I had been wanting to visit for years, but had never had the opportunity. When a trip to Rio fell through at the last minute, I decided to take the Brazil travel funds and instead go on a tour of Germany. Traveling to Berlin, Munich, Ulm, and the Bavarian Alps, I got to see much of the diversity of the country — but I still want to go back for their Christmas markets!
